Happy 155th Birthday Canada!!! We hope you can take this time to spend with your loved ones. Our team will be celebrating and relaxing with family and friends, therefore, our office will be closed from July 1st to July 4th. We will be back in the office the morning of July 5th.

In our efforts to improve knowledge and support your experience with using the platform, we make frequent updates to the articles as well as regularly publishing new articles (New features = YES!). Here is a list of the latest additions, for your reading pleasure:

Where can I see what Provincial Tax we owe? If you are the accountant or deal with the accounts for your brokerage, you may need to pay provincial tax for those policies sold. In the Trial Balance report, you will find tables with this data (as long as you have permission to view Reports in insights, speak to your Digital Champion if you need access!). More information on Tax Liabilities is provided here.
How far in advance can I change a policy? In the platform, changes can be made 30 days ahead. More information on Change Policy FAQs is here.
I have been notified that my customer disputed their insurance payment with their bank, but bond still shows the payment as Paid. What do I do? There is a button available in the Payments section that allows you to mark a 'Paid' payment as Disputed. Our Culture Committee
One of our guiding principles at Nude is 'Lead with Relationships'. This is not just relevant to our platform partners but also to our amazing team here. We pride ourselves on the great culture, that we have, within Nude Solutions which includes having a healthy environment to work in, providing respect for each other, being compassionate and celebrating each other in success. But just saying we have a great culture is not enough. One of the ways that we reinforce those internal relationships is creating events for our team, setting up quizzes and bingo cards, volunteering, dog walks, shout outs and fun activities like pizza and BBQ days (there is always a focus on the food!)
Our Culture Committee is at the centre of these activities and consists of around 12 'members'. The committee itself is build on a foundation of diversity, not only from the area/team that they work in, (from the Relationships Team to the Developers), but to the places we have come from and the experiences that we bring with us!
To recognize Canada Day, we voted for a 'Celebration of Culture' which provided us with the opportunity to listen to our colleagues about where they are from, what they celebrate, their culture (and food...there was more talk about food!) along with some fun facts and unusual traditions (all voluntary!)
In summary, we got to learn even more about the cool people that bring success to our company, we shared stories about our life journeys, our vast ranges of education, values and traditions well beyond what our current location has taught us. Canada, however, is the reason that we can come together to share these stories, us living here has connected us so that we can learn more about our interests, our diversity, our likes and our dislikes, our experiences and knowledge and for that we can certainly celebrate. Happy Canada Day!
