Nude Solutions Updated Release

Anticipated release  –  evening of February 7th, 2022

This bulletin contains information regarding our next upcoming release. It includes useful information about changes that may affect your day to day processes. If you have any third-party partnerships, don’t forget to let them know of any changes that may affect them also!

 

We felt it important to identify key stakeholders in our enhancement bulletins and so have created a standardized list of departments to help you identify where these changes may impact your day to day.

Where there is a release that affects an article that is in the Support Centre, a note of the article that has been updated or added will be noted, for your convenience. 

 

What’s New and Improved?

 

Updates to bond

 

  • Financial Score changes
    • The financial score 'tile' will be amended to display the results on the credit consent check as Yes or No.  A guide to these changes can be read in the article: Engage Overview.
  • Disputed Payments option
    • If a payment shows as Paid, but is then disputed by the customer or the bank, there is now an option to reflect this as a disputed payment in bond, under Payments. The workflow for this process is included in a new article - Disputed Payments.
  • Registered letter cancels renewal term
    • If cancellation via registered letter is sent and cancellation is within the current policy term, AND the renewal term is available too (Renewal is pending) the cancellation will end the current policy term and cancel the renewal term. Cancellation of both terms is not required. More information on this is added to article Registered Letter and Renewals.
  • Activity attachment upload limit
    • The maximum upload size (for an attachment) is 28Mb. This hasnt changed but has been the reason for a couple of support tickets recently, so we wanted to share this information to provide guidance as to why attachment issues may occur. 
    • Suggest asking for smaller files from customer or adding the documents or photos individually. 

 

Updates to periscope and bond

 

  • Social, Criminal and Behavioural (SCB) lockout changes 
    • Following the recent changes regarding SCB Certn checks (email communication sent February 2nd, 2022), there are changes to the process on lockouts in bond.   Please review the article: 'Periscope FAQS'.

 

Updates to insights

 

  • Power BI reports access
    • Power BI reports are now embedded. This means that access to the reports will only be available through the insights module in the Nude platform (not via a link saved on your browser or desktop as some MIGHT use). Further communication will follow on Friday 4th, 2022. 
  • Fulfillment type added to reports
    • This slicer has been added to the majority of the reports to allow you to slice between Modern and Manual Products (if you do not have Manual Products, you will only see the option for Modern).
  • Reinstatement status
    • There is now a slicer called Reinstatement as an option under Status type.
  • Transaction and Payment reconciliation report
    • Actual Payment date slicer added. This slicer will provide more precise data for month end reconciliations. This slicer shows the payments that have been 'actually' taken, where as some payments can sometimes happen after month end, causing a discrepancy in figures. 

 

Updates to Product Builder - (Features available if Product Builder is set up for you)

 

(Product Builder enables Nude brokerages, who have their own inhouse program,  to create their very own thru product for customers to quote, issue and manage online just like the current Exhale, SGI, Wawanesa and My Mutual products - please contact us on this email for more information on this feature). 

 

  • Policy Fee added
    • Policy Fee field enabled so that Product Builder users can add in their policy fee during the set up process.
  • Coverage 'help' text added 
    • When purchasing a policy, there are now help icons with the Coverages to describe what each coverage does. 

 

Updates to Manual Product (Features available if Manual Product is set up for you)

 

  • Accept Consent and Disclosure Agreement
    • When a Manual Product Policy is Billed or Issued, and Consent & Disclosure (C&D) is sent, an Open activity is created for broker to follow up on customer acceptance.
    • If a Premium Finance Agreement (PFA) has been sent to the customer this MUST be accepted and therefore the activity to remain open until this is accepted - the broker will NOT be able to manually close if PFA is sent. The customer must accept BOTH C&D AND PFA for the activity to be closed. See this article for more details on this :  Manual Product - Payment Details screen.
  • Coverages field in bond
    • Policy overview is now showing the coverages that are completed by the broker in the Manual Product creation process (this was not working as expected).
    • If these fields are left blank during the creation process, they will be blank in bond (the fields are not mandatory).
  • Open Activities for dec pages
    • When a policy change is done, in Manual Product, BEFORE the new policy dec page is uploaded, it is a requirement to add the appropriate document to each dec upload activity to ensure all documents are attached to the system.  See this article for more details on this: Manual Product - Change Policy.
  • Change Policy - Adding dec page 
    • Adding the insurers dec page, for the change on the policy, will be a required field.  
    • The Drag and drop/upload documents field will be mandatory and will send whatever is attached here to the customer, with the Change Policy email. See more in article: Manual Product - Change Policy.
    • Therefore you cannot complete the change in the platform without adding the insurer dec pages.
