In this article we will show you how to modify or edit those existing profiles.
Open your partner profile up in podium, their profile will look similar to this:
There are certain edit functions on this page which allow you to edit or modify, depending on which section you want to edit, shown here:
You can use these fields to edit or modify:
- Partner
- Referral Fees
- Payment Information
- Primary Contact Information
Here is an example:
Contact Information = here you can review and edit/modify the main Contact on the Partner profile, including name, phone #, address.
Referral Fees = you can only edit the compliance type, if you need to edit the Payee Type (Business or Individual) you would need to set them up separately.
Notification Emails = here you can modify the type of notifications that the Contact would receive, eg: Cancellations, Changes, New policies etc. Or select No if you do not want them to receive any.
Here is an example:
Code = Here you can edit the code and whether there are Email Notifications sent. You can also select or unselect the Products for which the Code applies to. In the scenario below, it only applies to Tenants policies.
Product Discount Options = This shows the options for that Code (may or may not provide the customer a discount) and/or the referral fees. As we only have Tenants selected in this scenario, only Tenants Discount Options shows, if all the products were selected, there would be a tab for each of them. See the second image below for a view on what that section looks like.
- Add the new contact in the Contact section of podium (as shown in article - How to create a new partner in podium )
- Then go to the edit icon (a pencil) that is shown here:
- The following screen will open, shown below.
- The bottom section now has a dropdown of all the contacts that could be the Primary.
- Select the one who is the Primary.
- Choosing one will then appear at the top under the Partner Information contact details.
